National Presentation Day

 

Today, I attended a National Presentation hosted by ESN, which I haven't been to in a long time.

Three countries, Mexico, Colombia, and Portugal, presented their National Presentations.

The first presentation was from Mexico, and I could feel the passion of the Mexican people from the presentation itself. They presented with a fighting spirit, making it even more enjoyable. Also, it was interesting to learn about tacos and tamales, foods that we often encounter. I thought to myself that I definitely want to visit Mexico someday.

Next was Colombia, and to be honest, I didn't know much about Colombia. However, I learned a lot of new facts while listening to the presentation.

Additionally, there was a process of teaching and explaining traditional dances, which made the presentation even more enjoyable.

Lastly, Portugal presented. They explained about various cities, and since I am planning a trip to Portugal soon, I listened attentively.

Among the cities they described, Lisbon and Porto are the ones I plan to visit. Their explanations were very helpful.

It was a National Presentation full of passionate friends!

Watching a hockey game

  I went to watch a hocky game for the first time in the Czech Republic. There is hockey games in Korea, but it isn’t as popular as it is in the Czech Republic. I went to Prostějov, near Olomouc, to watch the game. Hockey was much more fun than I expected. It was interesting to see so many people enjoying the game freely. I also had some warm sausages and wine at the stadium! The most surprising thing was how well the fans and players interacted. I enjoy watching baseball in Korea, but it’s very difficult for fans to interact with players like in the video above because baseball stadiums are very large and crowded. Next time, I want to go watch a game of the Olomouc team.

Movie day in Envelopa

  I went to Envelopa Dormitory with my Japanese friends to watch a movie and eat delicious food. Each of us brought food to share, and my friends prepared pizza. It was fascinating to see them bake pizza in an oven, which we don't have in our dormitory. Also, it was my first time visiting Envelopa Dormitory, and there were many differences compared to ours. The pizza was really delicious! I want to have it again. We prepared a dish called "Sausage and Vegetable Stir-fry" along with rice. Everyone liked the sausage and vegetable stir-fry, which is cooked in a ketchup-based sauce, and they even asked for the recipe. I felt proud. But then, I made a mistake😂 I spilled the rice, but luckily, there was more rice available, so we shared that. I felt sorry for my friends. The movie we watched today was 'Castle in the Sky'. It's a movie from Studio Ghibli, and it was my first Ghibli movie experience hehe I'm not usually a big fan of animations, so I was worried,
